Ive heard that factors such open enrollment policies, busing, overcrowding, class size reductions, school closing, and changing school district boundaries can mean that your kids DONT go to the school nearest to them.
So do your homework and contact your local school or school district. And be sure the person you talk with knows what theyre talking about and isnt just being helpful and telling you what you want to hear!
