“Question. I know the market isnt hot like it was before. So my wife and I found a home we liked and were surprised when the agent said us to rush to make offer. That seemed a little pushy. Are you advising your clients to rush to make offers in this market?”

In any market, timing can make or break a purchase. Ive seen people lose homes by waiting literally one minute too long. And obviously the more desirable homes and better values are going to get more interest.
We never like to rush our clients, but sometimes its in our clients best interest. Id rather they get the home they want than have me politely let them lose it.
Our basic advice: Take as much time as you must to but as little as you can.
