I suggest you find an agent in that area who specializes in short sales. Be careful as many agents SAY they are specialists because they’ve been to a seminar and have done one short sale. Ask them for a list of short sale listings they’ve sold and go with one who’s done at least 10.
I’d recommend an agent to you, but I don’t know one there. I hope things work out for you…
