“Can I get something back to acknowledge that we do have our offer in and it is in before any others?”
Answer:
I’ve been asked this by homebuyers and homesellers. But I was surprised that an AGENT actually asked this question!
There’s no “take a number” machine where you get “served” and your offer is responded to in order of when they come in.
Obviously, it’s still better to get your offer in as soon as possible so that you can hopefully get yours accepted before other offers come in.
But offers do not get any priority or special treatment based on when they’re received.
