Answer:
Careful! Just like there are very nice but very bad Realtors, the same holds true for lenders.
I could write 100 pages telling you of all the bad experiences my clients and I have had from lenders. Examples:
- Didn’t ask basic questions to see if they’re really qualified
- Had them apply for a loan type they couldn’t get
- Put them into loan programs running out of money
- Quoted low rates they couldn’t deliver
- Lost paperwork
…And the list goes on. The lender you spoke with may be great. But I strongly recommend that you talk with a lender I know and trust. Of course, you can use any lender you wish.
