Even if your offer is accepted on a weekend or holiday, that’s still considered the acceptance date.
Your lender may be confused with the following:
The only thing that can’t happen on a weekend or legal holiday (when the county recorder is closed) is the actual recording of the deed and closing of the sale.
When the closing gets scheduled on a weekend or holiday, it’s always pushed to the following business day unless both parties agree otherwise.
