Question:
“Gary, I’m selling our rental in Los Angeles. The buyer agreed to buy As Is and we even gave them a home inspection from a previous buyer before they offered. But now they’re asking for a $200 credit for a water pressure regulator. My agent told them no, but they’re not backing down. I’m tempted to tell them to walk if they don’t want the house…”
Answer:
For $200? Really?
Which is more important to you: Being right, or selling your home?
Buying or selling a home is business and needs to be a NO EGO zone.
So unless you are SURE you can get a better offer, credit the $200, close the sale, and move on.
