Question:
“I read in the paper that a good way to help get your offer accepted is for your agent to present it in person to the seller. Is that what you recommend?”
Answer:
Wow, that brings back memories!
Way, way back in the dark ages of real estate…before e-signatures…before email…before faxes(!), that’s how we did it.
The buyer’s agent would present every offer in person to the seller and seller’s agent. Up until about 1990.
Today?
If you insisted—heck, if you even asked—to do that now you’d be laughed at and/or perceived as being overly aggressive.
So, no, I don’t recommend that at all. Times have changed and we don’t do it that way anymore.
