Answer:
You’re making a BIG assumption that prices will be up next summer. How do you know this? Do you have a time machine?
Is it because everyone says – incorrectly – that summer is the best selling season in San Diego? All other things being equal, spring has the most home sale activity.
But, more importantly, all other things are rarely equal. Major market trends always overshadow seasonal trends.
So here’s my advice…
If you are more of a gambler, wait a bit and see if prices are up, down, or the same. You may regret it or you may be rewarded.
If you want to play it safe and selling now gets you what you need, sell now.
