Constructed in 2012 for over $250 million, Emporia is one of the biggest shopping malls in Scandinavia. It contains roughly 200 shops and restaurants in its 1,000,000 square feet of of shopping space.
On top of the three-story mall is a rooftop terrace garden where people can take a breather between shopping sprees. But that’s not the building’s most unusual trait.
Emporia’s most notable feature is located at the entrance: it has a curved facade that looks like someone shot a massive bullet straight through the building!
The warped shape may look cool, but it’s not quite as much fun when it rains: it acts as a giant funnel with a waterfall that will splash right onto the heads of inattentive mallgoers.
