Built for an affluent Iranian man as his private residence, this home has one very unique feature. The rectangular rooms in each of its three stories can be rotated outward so that they jut into the air.
With the press of a button, the boxy wooden rooms swing out to face the street. But this amazing feature isn’t just for show: it also increases the total amount of living space and lighting. The design is meant to help keep the home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
