Home valuation sites are great entertainment, but you should trust them about as far as you can throw them–which is to say, not at all. These sites use computer programs that often don’t take into account all the important factors that determine a home’s value. They regularly miss the true value by 20%… and sometimes even more! So while these sites may be good for a laugh, talk to an experienced Realtor for an estimate of your San Diego home’s real value.
