Located at Marina Bay Sands, this attraction resembles a gigantic lotus flower lifted high above the water. The points of the “petals” contain skylights that provide natural lighting to the interior. Another “green” feature: rainwater flows down through the center of the building and into a reflecting pond in the middle.
The museum has 50,000 square feet of gallery space, and features touring exhibitions from other museums all over the world.
But unlike most others, the ArtScience Museum is just as much of a spectacle as the collections it contains.
