Buying a San Diego home? Search all homes for sale
Today, we discuss buying and listing. I don’t mean buying a listed home for sale, but instead, inflating a listing’s price to earn top dollar.
Inflating the value of your home is one practice some agents use in order to get your listing when competing against other agents. They then “hammer” down the owner to reduce the price so that the home sells at or near market value. In cases like this, the agent is lying to your face to get your business. I wouldn’t like this if it happened to me!
When working with an agent, be careful. Be proactive. Ask questions. Request data. You want explanations for important decisions.
