Many people use home search sites when browsing for a new home, but there are a few things to keep in mind when doing so. I’ll share some insight and advice for this process so you can understand better.
The information isn’t always accurate. Recently, a newly listed, for sale home showed up on one of these sites with my name on it, yet that house was sold three years ago.
Also, when you input your personal information into those sites, they will sell your information to the highest bidder. It doesn’t matter if you’re interested in a specific property, either. They will sell your information to a real estate agent who has nothing to do with that property. That’s not okay.
