On today’s edition of Story Time with Gary, we’ll talk about a memory from a long time ago, when I had just started working in real estate.
A young woman called me and explained she recently inherited a house she was interested in selling. I visited her home, knocked on the door, and she invited me inside her dark living room. It was a sunny day, and I’d been outside, so it was difficult for me to see. I sat down on the couch and started to chat together. As my eyes slowly adapted to the light, I noticed a fifteen-foot Boa constrictor right next to my feet! It startled me so much that I ended our conversation quickly and left. I’m not even sure that I called her back!
At the time, I was new in the industry, and I was caught off-guard by that incident. I’m all for pets, but I’m more of a dog person.
