Today I have another true story for you, and this occurred a long time ago, like 30 years ago. A woman had a home that did not sell, so she invited me over to talk to her about selling her home.
We were sitting down talking about the sale when all of the sudden we heard a loud engine in the driveway. She looked startled so I asked her why. She then told me that her last real estate agent – who failed to sell the home – was her ex-husband. She also told me that he did not know we were speaking about selling the home.
She also told me that he had a bad temper and that he usually carried a gun…
I said, “Okay, maybe I should leave.” However, it ended up not being her ex-husband. After that meeting, I did not call the lady back because there are some things that are more important than selling your home.
