Buying a San Diego home? Search all homes for sale
I’ve got a smart tip for you today if you’re thinking about selling your home soon. It might make your neighbors think you’re a little confused, but trust me, it works.
You’ve obviously heard of the term “curb appeal” before. It refers to how your home appears to buyers as they pull up to the curb, and it’s essential to selling a home.
When you live in a house, you probably don’t pay attention to your curb appeal at all on a day-to-day basis. However, if you plan on selling sometime in the near future, I challenge you to take a closer look next time you pull into your driveway.
“Put yourself in the mindset of a buyer.”
Drive up to your home slowly and look at things with a fresh pair of eyes. Is there anything that looks out of place? Does the landscaping need more work? Are there any weeds or debris in the yard?
If you just take a moment to look at your curb appeal through the eyes of a buyer, I guarantee you’ll notice things you didn’t before. Once you notice theses things, you can get started on fixing them.
