Do you have an ugly neighbor? If so, there’s something important you should know before listing your home. Before I get into that, though, allow me to explain what I mean by an “ugly neighbor.”
I’m not actually talking about what your neighbors themselves look like, but rather how their homes look.
If your neighbor’s home is an eyesore, your selling success could be compromised. It doesn’t matter how pristine and beautiful your property is. People will take into account how other homes in the neighborhood appear, as well.
But, since your neighbor’s home is out of your control, how can you fix this issue? If you aren’t shy, you could approach them directly and offer to pay for a gardener to boost their curb appeal. This isn’t guaranteed to work, but it can majorly boost your listing success if it does.
