Now back to our main topic. Here in San Diego, we’re generally in a balanced market. Conditions can vary from neighborhood to neighborhood, but in the higher end, we’re in more of a buyer’s market, while in the lower end, we’re in more of a seller’s market.
If you’re a seller, this means if you price your home correctly and you have a good agent representing you, you’ll sell in anywhere from a few days to a few weeks (or maybe 60 days at the maximum).
If you’re a buyer, you’ll have a decent selection of homes to choose from, but not necessarily a broad one. When you find a home you like, you’ll want to take action quickly, because a home that’s priced right likely has other buyers interested in it as well.
Lastly, interest rates are still in the 4% range, which is good news for buyers and sellers.
If you or anyone you know is thinking of buying or selling real estate, we’d love it if you gave us a call or sent us a referral. As always, if you have any more questions about our market, don’t hesitate to call or email me. I’d be happy to help you.
