Attesting to a “manana” way of life, this laid-back place believes that more attention should be on enjoying the present moment while also keeping your dreams for tomorrow in focus.
The 21-acre grounds feature a variety of accommodations such as a casita, safari tents, Sioux-style tepees, Mongolian yurts (imagine a circular tent), and open space for tent camping. Visitors can enjoy the hammock grove, outdoor kitchen and dining area, community lounge and mercantile, stage, and wood-fired hot tubs.
Activities on the premises include things like art and cooking classes, songwriting workshops, and yoga. El Cosmico is also home to the Trans-Pecos Festival of Music + Love a conglomeration of baseball, art, music, and workshops.
Rentals at El Cosmico start at about $95 per night or you can bring your own tent for $20 a night.
