Buying a San Diego home? Search all homes for sale
You’ve been warned—today’s story requires a PG-13 rating.
Several years ago, I was holding a broker open house for a rental property. This was back before the internet could provide online home photos and it was more common to have broker open houses where multiple agents could gather. The tenants of this house wanted to be home that day for this open house, even though we asked them not to be present.
“Apparently, our tenants didn’t mind agents walking in on them.”
Anyway, while we were giving the broker tour, agents kept coming up to us one by one and saying the tenants were (I’ll pause here and let it be known that my team and I had a 10-minute conversation and voted on how to appropriately phrase what I’m about to say next) getting familiar during the open house.
Apparently, they didn’t mind agents walking in on them while this was happening.
As always, if you’re thinking of buying or selling a home, don’t hesitate to call or email me. I look forward to speaking with you.
