Your neighbors WILL know your home is for sale.
How?
Well, it might be when they see professionally dressed (well, this is San Diego, so not always so professionally dressed) men and women with clipboards leading people into your house.
Of thousands of homes I’ve sold, not a single one has ever been burglarized. A sign does NOT tell a burglar that you have any more valuable possessions that your neighbor does. But it DOES tell them that there will be people coming to see the house, so they’re more likely to be caught breaking in.
In this high-tech age, For Sale signs still work. So you’d be losing out on interested buyers if you don’t have one.
NOTE: If you REALLY don’t want a sign, I’ll still be happy to sell your home. …But you should have a sign!
