Question:
“I’m having trouble finding a home to buy. There isn’t a lot to choose from and all the nice ones seem to already have an offer. Any tips you can give me?”
Answer:
Here are three…
- Don’t automatically skip over homes with poor pictures. They could be real gems that are being overlooked due to bad photography.
- Focus on homes that have been sitting on the market for over 60 days. Since they’re no longer the “new home on the market,” they’re probably not getting much interest. And the owner may be ripe for any halfway-decent offer. On the other hand, it could be sitting because the owner is stubbornly trying to get an above market price. But the only way to find out is to give it a shot.
- Work with us. With my large client base and long list of contacts, I know of many homes before they hit the market. We’ve helped dozens of people like you find homes that no one else knew about.
