College Grove

The central community of College Grove takes its name from San Diego State University, the largest and oldest college in San Diego. SDSU has over 31,000 students and is also home to Viejas Arena, a popular concert venue. Aside from the college, the area is mostly residential, with shopping located along El Cajon Boulevard and University Avenue. Chollas Lake Park at its southern end offers hiking, picnics, youth fishing and more.
