Encanto is a small, diverse community in east-central San Diego. Aside from a few elementary schools, this neighborhood is almost completely residential. At Encanto Recreation Center and Martin Luther King Park, residents can enjoy a picnic or get active with baseball, basketball, soccer and more. Most of the area’s shopping can be found along Imperial Avenue.
