Mission Beach
The small community of Mission Beach occupies a thin strip of land with not one but two shorelines: Mission Bay on the east side, the Pacific Ocean on the west. But although the area boasts four miles of bayfront and oceanfront real estate, it’s no sleepy beach town.

What’s Cool About Mission Beach
The main thoroughfare of Mission Boulevard is home to the bars and restaurants that support the neighborhood’s thriving nightlife. The Belmont Park amusement park features the historic Giant Dipper roller coaster, and the aquatic wonders of Sea World are just a mile to the east. No less than five green parks dot the landscape, plus a recreation center and clubs for rowing and sailing. Then there are the beaches themselves, perfect for everything from volleyball to surfing.
Homes for sale in Mission Beach generally have small lot sizes, and the abundant local college students give the area a youthful atmosphere much in keeping with Pacific Beach to the north. For those who prefer their beach life filled with energy and excitement, this is a natural choice.
