San Ysidro, the southernmost community in the City of San Diego, is home to a bustling border crossing and supports many of the businesses that enjoy cross-border ties. Many visitors to Mexico will come to San Ysidro to walk across to Tijuana in Baja California, since it’s less congested with commercial traffic than the Otay Mesa crossing. The area is also home to five parks and activity centers, where residents can picnic or play baseball, basketball, tennis and more.
